Top Tip

The hotel is 25 meters from the Centrum bus stop on the number 175 Shuttle bus from the airport and only a 10 minute slow walk to the Warsaw Central Rail Station.

Very clean and nice hotel. pity about the netting outside the windows but understand that it is needed for safety reasons. Rooms are well heated and confortable.close to shops and Palace of culture.

Take bus 175 from airport stops near to hotel "Centrum" stop.

The Metropol looks hideous from the outside (covered in a massive, dirty net!) but is actually a really nice cheap option. My room was spotless, the breakfast was good and the location was very convenient (5 mins from the main train station, opposite the Palace of Culture and Science and an easy walk to the Old Town). I would definitely recommend the Metropol to people who can see through the grim exterior!

Top Tip

The Poster Museum is well worth a visit - about 30 minutes out on a bus.

A lovely hotel! We went to Warsaw for sight-seeing and were only looking for somewhere as a base, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. A good choice at breakfast and facilities to change GB pounds to Zloty at reception with no commission!

Top Tip

If you want Zloty,we found that a month's notice was needed here in the UK; however, we changed a minimum at the airport and then changed as we needed it in Poland - GB pounds to Zloty. The bus from the airport (174, I think) was easy to find and stopped a short walk from the hotel. Just make sure you have change for the bus - 3 zloty each if buying tickets on the bus or 2.40 zloty if you buy the tickets from a kiosk beforehand. These tickets need validating in the machine as soon as you get on the bus. We found it was a good idea to write our destinations down, just incase! The top of The Palace of Science and Culture is worth a visit, especially on a clear day when you can see the full extent of Warsaw. Also, the old town is really nice with lots of choice of places to eat. There are a lot of restaurants behind C and A, just up the road from the hotel.
