Situated on Warsaw’s fashionable “Royal Route,” the road that leads through the historical area of the city, Le Royal Méridien Bristol Hotel overlooks the Presidential Palace. The ground floor of this 19th century, fin de siècle property houses some of the city's most exclusive designer shops. The spacious lobby boasts a splendid marble floor, rosewood reception desk and plenty of comfortable seating areas. Equally elegant, the 205 guestrooms are individually designed and decorated for a truly distinctive experience, featuring unique prints, sparkling chandeliers, and opulent furnishings. Though they vary slightly in size, all are clean and impeccably maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. As befits its size and status, the hotel offers a variety of dining options. The award-winning Malinowa Restaurant provides an extensive choice innovative Polish cuisine. The Marconi Restaurant serves dishes influenced by the Mediterranean coast in an appropriately relaxed atmosphere. Here you can enjoy the best brunch in town every Sunday, complete with a lavish buffet and live music. The Viennese-style Café Bristol is a popular meeting place in Warsaw, serving light meals, and delicious pastries. And last but not least, the Column Bar is a local institution for cocktails, conversation, and live music.

This hotel tries unsuccessfully to rest on its famous laurels...             is in need of a make-over, ...             looking a bit tatty and in need of a refurb...             Great hotel,...             I cannot recomend it highly enough...
